Where every
family belongs.

Welcome to the Highland Terrace family! The PTA is how we keep that feeling alive year round.

The programs, events, and little extras that make this school feel like home don't happen on their own. They happen because families like yours get involved — in whatever way works for you.

Join

Membership is how the PTA works. When you join, you fund the programs your kids enjoy every day and add your voice to a community that advocates for schools across the state.

Volunteer

There's a role for every schedule. Whether you can give an afternoon a month or show up for just one event, your time makes a real difference. Find something that works for you.

Give

Not everyone has time to volunteer and that's okay. A donation of any size goes directly toward the programs and events that make learning at Highland Terrace special.

What is the PTA?

The Highland Terrace PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is a group of school families and staff who work together to support our school and the kids who are in it.

When you join, you’re not locked into a committee or calendar. You’re saying this school matters to me and showing up in whatever way works for you. You're adding your voice to a community that funds programs, supports teachers, and makes Highland Terrace the kind of place every kid deserves.

Membership is $30 a year for a family. Each school year requires a quick and easy renewal. Signing up matters more than you might think: the more members we have, the stronger our voice is when advocating for school funding at the state level.

Children in a classroom

"Being involved with the PTA changed how I think about being a school parent. It began as a place I dropped off my daughter to a place where I know the staff, other parents, and understand how much of what happens at school depends on families showing up."
